It matters when women are not treated well.

This is why I always treat work life balance as a very nuanced subject. A 40-hour week, in-house yoga classes, the new workout trend: none of these will fix the problem. If someone is struggling day in day out in a challenging work environment, then no amount of free time will be enough for them to process what they are going through.

Yes, we do need many practical measures to support the work life balance of women in Hospitality. But at the IWD workshop on Monday 7th March, we look at the intangible ones which we also need to address so that we thrive in the industry.

Join Love Letters to Chefs for the workshop. Book your place before the Thursday 4th March!
