Poll against background of image of chef. Text reads: My question for you today: do you want to be a more effective leader? Responses: Yes - 93% No - 7%

Thank you to everyone who took part in the poll! It takes humility to acknowledge that you want to work on some aspect of yourself.

You see, this is what I learnt from coaching Hospitality professionals. Whether you want a better professional or personal life, very often it boils down to taking a closer look at your relationship with work.

And this is the essence of what we get to, in almost every coaching session I have with my clients. Often they want the best of both worlds – making a difference through their work and leadership, setting a good example for their team. And then they also want to simply enjoy their personal lives and be present and available for the people and things that matter to them.

Like all of us, they have layers of ‘musts’ and ‘shoulds’ that get in the way of those ambitions. They have perceptions of who they are and what their limitations are. To add to that, they have years of conditioning related to who or what the industry told them they could be.

During our sessions, we do the deep work of sifting through the layers that get in the way of their effectiveness as leaders. I help them see who they truly can be, living their true potential. They get clear on how they can make a better impact on their teams. They give themselves the permission to ‘be’ and ‘do’ from that place – and not from the rules set in the 1890s, when the industry defined how we should work.

If you want to be a more effective leader for your team, email me or book a 30-minute call via this link, and we can discuss your challenge and whether coaching is the right step for you now.

Bookings close today, Thursday 27th January.
