In those moments that you took a leap forward, someone trusted you with more responsibility. Someone gave you a helping hand before a big deadline. Someone taught you the techniques that you’ve now mastered. Someone took a chance on you and invited you for a stage.
But in order to protect those things that we can measure and define in our careers, we sometimes dishonour the very thing that is responsible for our success – our connection with those around us.
