Remember that work life balance is not just about your rota or wellbeing ‘activities’. Balance comes from the small things too:
- Taking a break when offered during your shift
- Those lighter moments during work when everyone breaks out in laughter
- Taking a new route on your commute
- Enjoying a cup of tea or coffee in silence on your day off
- A phone call to a friend you have not connected with recently
In a demanding profession like ours, stealing those small moments when and where you can will make all the difference.
