Image of a baker with a tray of doughnuts, with quote that reads: "If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete" - Jack Kornfield.

Where do you need to extend that compassion to yourself today?

Working in Hospitality means that you go to great lengths to make your customer happy. You tune into what they will experience when they eat your food or dine at your table, and set out to craft that experience with meticulous attention to detail. And you do this without complaint, because that is the most fulfilling part of your job.

But once in a while, you have to tune into what will make you happy, and carve out some time where you can do those things. So you can experience what being fulfilled feels like to you.

And that completes the circle.

Sometimes it is not even about doing the things that make you happy. You might just need to be kind and thoughtful to yourself.

You cannot imagine how this will change your life. That feeling of fulfilment will change your energy in other areas, and with it will come success in your career, happiness in relationships, etc.

So I ask you once again: what part of you needs a little compassion today?
