Here’s a question for you today: do you accept help when it is offered to you?

Saying yes to a helping hand isn’t about appearing weak or being vulnerable. What comes through instead is your humility: that you’re humble enough to acknowledge that nothing is achieved without the support of other people. And there’s more strength in humility than there is in pretending you’ve got it all under control.

And just because you accept someone’s help, it doesn’t mean you’re forever obliged to them. Note that there’s a two-way exchange here: when you accept their offer of help, you give them the satisfaction of having done a good deed in return.

So the next time someone comes to your assistance when you really need it, what will you do, chef?
