Simple message today: this week, do one thing, just for you.

Remember that you work in service of others. Which is why you have to start with serving yourself. That’s not being selfish. Because if you are not full, you will seek to fill that void in a way that doesn’t really do any good for you.

Choose to do what truly nourishes you. And remember to choose what you want, rather than what you need. As a chef there may be times when you don’t have the time or the money to really treat yourself. But doing that one little thing is a small but important part of honouring your self-care needs.
