You’re locked away in the kitchen for most of December. Outside, rest of the world celebrates the end of successful year, people getting awarded and rewarded. Of course, you’re too busy and focussed to wait around for acknowledgement.
But know that nothing goes unseen, chef. Even if only you know how much you’ve sacrificed and stretched yourself to serve this season. Because there will come a time when you’re ready to step up to the next level in your life or career. And then you can confidently ask for whatever that is, secure in the knowledge that you’ve played full out.
