For all those celebrating Christmas today:
If you are working, I hope your service goes well and that you get to celebrate with your loved ones at some point.
If you are at home this year, I encourage you to savour the experience, especially if you would not normally get to spend it with those closest to you. Even if you are running the kitchen, cooking, plating, serving your family and topping up their glasses, when you sit down to your meal, I hope you will allow yourself to enjoy it in quiet appreciation – just like a customer would at your restaurant.
