Would it be safe to say that we’re just about midway through the (roughly) 6-week Christmas season? As we enter the intense second half, it’s important to just stop and appreciate your service.

The world may not say it enough. As everyone winds down for a month of festivities, you’re working harder than usual, behind the scenes, putting it all together (of course, with other professionals and industries).

Take this moment to congratulate yourself on how you’re showing up to that service. Sure, it’s your job, but try to see the truth about what your contribution is. Take pride in what you bring to the world: in the next few weeks you’ll serve hundreds of memories, stories, joyous moments that will live long after the plates are emptied.

Thank you for doing what you do, chefs!
